Signs if skull base fracture are:

• CSF rhinorrhea or otorrhea (can be a relatively early indication of basilar skull fracture)
• Racoon eyes (fracture of the floor of the anterior cranial fossa --> discoloration around the eyes --> after several hours, appeared as periorbital ecchymosis or racoon eyes).
• Battle sign (after 8 - 12 hours, bruises at the mastoid process)
• Hemotympanum
