65 years old man complaining of having abdominal pain. Investigations were done and revealed that he had metastatic Ca of the pancreas. He was currently planning on going a year traveling around the world with his beloved wife. As the doctor in charged, after considering all aspects,

• Would you still tell the diagnosis to the patient? (1m)
• State 1 reason for your action in i. (2m)
• Name the most appropriate ethical issue in this situation (2m)

it's just another ethical issue. that is what you are thinking, right? so, can you justify the conditions and make a good decision? please try. even once. for me, i found myself having a hard time to write the answer. why? coz i never thought about such question before. so, please try :)

Ah Chong came to the hospital. He had a heart attack, and was admitted to Coronary Care Unit(CCU). He had a very poor prognosis. The patient requested to the doctor that the information cannot be disclosed to anyone and is only limited to himself.

• If you were the doctor in charged, would you tell his wife as the wife came and approached you? (1m)
• State the reason for your action in ii. (2m)
